ASPI stands for "Advanced SCSI Programming Interface",and has been the most widely used SCSI API standard. Our programs used the ASPI protocol to access the CD-Rom device to rip your audio CD. The WNASPI32.DLL file is distributed in the official Microsoft Windows 95/98 install CD-ROM. but for WinNT,Win2000 users you must put this file in your windows system directory. (c:\windows\system or c:\windows\system32)

Download aspi.exe (self-install .exe file) (284K) and install it.

MP3 Workshop and MP3 Workshop XP allows users to split an MP3 into any size or length.

Yes, any number of MP3s can be joined together, and will be set to the same bit rate you select.

Output MP3 files are sounding bad?
MP3 is a lossy format. Based on the compression settings chosen by the user (Bit rate, Sample rate, Channel info) , some of the audio data is thrown away or 'lost' to decrease the actual compressed file size. This is why the more an MP3 is compressed, the poorer the sound quality.

Where are my mp3s?
You're all ready to convert/Split/Join your mp3s...but where are they?
In Convert/Split/Join/CD Rip functions, the output directory need to be set, the default directory is C:\Music, all the conversion and split mp3 will be at that output directory, and remain the same name as original. If in Join function of MP3 Workshop or MP3 Workshop XP, the joined output file will be C:\Music\output.mp3, you can set it to any name and directory you want.
